You really can't miss the house number 25 in Pařížská Street. It's only a few steps from the Vltava River steps and together with the InterContinental Hotel forms the gateway to the Old Town. This is an exclusive address in the most expensive street in the Czech Republic, which has long been among the most expensive locations in Central Europe.
The multifunctional building has one underground and eight above-ground floors with a total of 5,150 m² of usable area. For the purpose of reconstruction, we almost completely dismantled it - only the supporting steel structure remained. This allowed us to modernise the building from the ground up and add elements that meet current building requirements, parameters, and trends.
The unifying element is the facade made of travertine tiles, which are processed with exceptional precision and attention to detail. The travertine blocks come from a limestone quarry near Rome. In the Czech Republic, they were cut into individual slabs, which connect to each other along the entire facade. This creates unusually natural surfaces, which are dominated by large window portals complemented by golden blades. The same tiling is also the mainlining of the interior of the common areas.
On the third to eighth floors there are sixteen luxury apartment units with the apartments on the higher floors having their own terraces, the highest one has a unique view of Hradčany, Letná, Petřín, Old Town, but also the more distant Prague landmarks. The first and second floors consist of commercial units. On the underground floor, in addition to the technological facilities, there is an automatic car stacker with a rotary module, which enables the convenient parking of twenty cars.
The building also contains the original works of artists Jiří Babíček and Zdeněk Kolářský. The works were restored and again became part of the building.
