Dvořák's Prague International Music Festival
From 2023 we are patrons of the Dvořák's Prague International Music Festival. Since 2008, this festival has offered more than two weeks every year filled with beautiful music and extraordinary cultural events, which are inspired by the life and creative legacy of one of the world's greatest musical geniuses. Bringing Dvořák to Prague might seem as revealing as bringing owls to Athens, and that is precisely why the organizers of the festival say that they do not want Dvořák's name in the title for nothing. The festival is not meant to be just a parade of successive concerts, the attractiveness of which is enhanced by the names of famous performers. The intention of the program is for Antonín Dvořák's work to be heard in a historical context so that in addition to the works of the Master, which are part of the core repertoire of all renowned ensembles and soloists, works that cannot be heard regularly by concert audiences will also be heard.
