BIM Day
Thursday 20.6.2024 was in the sign of BIM, especially for our BIM manager, Lukáš Vacík. In the afternoon, together with his colleague Patrik Martinek, he attended an internal BIMDAY mini-conference at our sister company OBERMEYER HELIKA a.s., where he presented the extended possibilities of #IFC export from #Autodesk Revit and its control using the new #openBIM format #IDS in #BIMcollab. In the afternoon, he already gave a presentation at the DIGITALIZATION AND BIM IN CONSTRUCTION 2024 conference hosted by the ABF Foundation.
And what's new with us? We have started using the new #openBIM format #IDS for automatic checking of BIM models in #IFC, before they are handed over to the Client. And even though IDS is rather new, it has already proved very useful in practice. We are already looking forward to new projects where the IDS file will already be part of the BIM brief for the Client (but we can already convert any data standard in bulk from XLS to IDS).
