Pařížská 25

Pařížská 25 is a building which, together with the InterContinetal Hotel, forms the gateway to the Old Town.
During the reconstruction, almost the entire building was removed except for the supporting steel structure.

The exceptional location of the house also corresponds to the high requirements of the investor, the architect, but also the future residents who aim for high luxury and utility value. The building is a reconstruction of a multifunctional building with one underground and eight above-ground floors, with a total usable area of 5,150 m2. During the reconstruction, almost the entire building was removed except for the supporting steel structure. The new elements could thus create a building with parameters corresponding to current building requirements and trends.

The commercial units are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, with a total area of 980 m2. Sixteen luxury residential units with a total area of 3,040 m2 are located on the 3rd to 8th floors. Terraces adjoin the apartments on the top three floors. From the highest one there is a unique view of Prague Castle, Petrin Hill, Old Town, Letna, Vltava River, as well as the more distant landmarks of the entire Prague panorama. In the underground floor, in addition to the technological background, there is an automatic stacker with a turning module for comfortable parking of twenty cars.

Each of the apartments is tailored to the requirements of the future owner, and thanks to the rugged and irregular floor plan, it is a great challenge for the architects of famous names. The unifying element is the travertine cladding facade, which has been crafted with great precision and detail. The travertine blocks were quarried in a quarry near Rome. In the Czech Republic, they were cut into individual slabs, which are thus connected to each other by their moulding throughout the façade, forming unusually natural surfaces dominated by large window portals, complete with golden-coloured edges. The travertine cladding is also the main line of the interior of the common areas in the house.
