Fountain on Masaryk Square in Hradec Králové
The stainless steel fountain was the beginning of our collaboration with sculptor Michal Gabriel.
And after we won the competition, we met Michal and agreed that he would make a fountain for us in the square. The fountain is located at the intersection of all the roads, so that it can be seen from any entrance to the square, and has actually become an iconic place. The use of stainless chrome-plated steel makes it essentially the most extensive use of this material in the civilian sector, as it is otherwise used primarily for purely military purposes.
