The film describes the evolution of the company from the 1980s onwards, when it became clear that the existing technology and the way the products were handled were a long-term risk for the company and the society as a whole.
The filmmakers try to explain, in the context of the conquest of the American dream, that capitalism does not always have to be seen as a problem that causes climate change, income inequality or injustice, but can also seek solutions to these problems. The film forces viewers to think beyond conventional thinking about sustainability and how it can be achieved and incorporated into every business.
We also invited students from the Department of Architecture at the University of Applied Arts to attend the screening and lecture .
Immediately after the film, we started a discussion about sustainability in the Czech context with Mr. Zahalka, owner of ProInterier, who kindly screened the film and for that we thank him.
