Multifunctional complex Bořislavka

The structure of the building resembles a cut gemstone, the facades of which have different inclinations and must perfectly meet the structural and physical requirements.
One of our most difficult and important projects, on which we collaborated with our favourite architects, Aulík Fišer architects, as the general designer.

We started to develop the Bořislavka project during the tender for the general contractor, when we made arrangements with our other long-time partner, Geosan, which was looking for a designer to follow up on the project preparation within the framework of the zoning decision. That is, the designs for the execution of the construction, because the designs for the building permit were ready. Aulík Fišer Architects and Geosan themselves prepared another tender for the next stage of documentation, and we started the design before they signed the contract for the work. KKCG, i.e. Karel Komarek's company with its development division led by Petr Pujman, decided to use only us from Geosan's offer, transferred us under itself and entered into a design contract with us for the execution of the construction as the general designer. Geosan became the general contractor for KKCG.

We worked for them on this project for two and a half years. The cooperation with the architects was very intense. Our participation in this construction, during which we spent two years in close contact with the architect and the developer, resulted in the creation of a building that is of great importance for the development of our office in terms of its location, design, complexity of facade details and overall spatial concept, especially in terms of project preparation and the use of BIM technology. After the transition of our firm directly under the management of KKCG, we handled the project preparation very intensively with our colleague architect Jan Aulík, with us designing from site to site, until the building started to become complex in terms of completion after concrete construction. We then started to operate an office on site where our staff sat and were available 24 hours a day to explain things to the building contractors. In terms of the extraordinary complexity and coordination of the spatial design, this is a multi-level building with complex facades, which MFS Digital was involved in designing. This firm, which specialises in façade design, worked with the future façade contractor, Sipra. It was a challenging job that involved our experts throughout the construction process and we owe a great deal of thanks to both our colleagues and the responsible KKCG staff.
