On Tuesday, April 14—Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah)—we attended the ceremonial unveiling of Torah Scroll No. 41 from the prestigious collection of the Memorial Scrolls Trust, which has permanently loaned the scroll to the Czech Republic.
CASUA on the jury of an international student competition
This year, we became partners of the National Round of the 21st annual Saint-Gobain 2026 International Student Competition. Our senior architect, Veronika Hájková, served on the jury that evaluated a total of nine submitted projects. The competition’s brief took us to Belgrade, on the banks of the Sava River. Students were tasked with revitalizing the site of a former cement plant.
Adoptive parent of helmeted cassowary
In 2003, CASUA became the proud adoptive parent of its namesake helmeted cassowary in the Prague Zoo. That it is a species with a "helmet" cannot be a coincidence.
